There are several opportunities for paid and unpaid employment and training with the Anxiety and Depression Research Center. In addition, potential graduate students interested in working with Dr. Craske are encouraged to apply to the UCLA Clinical Psychology program. All admissions decisions are made as a department.

Study Coordinator Position

The Anxiety and Depression Research Center (ADRC) is currently interviewing for a study coordinator position. This role involves coordinating an NIMH-funded MRI research study investigating the neurobiological basis for anxiety and depression. The study is informed by the Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) initiative put forth by the NIMH: http://www.nimh.nih.gov/research-priorities/rdoc/index.shtml

Key responsibilities include 1) driving participant recruitment from primary care clinics; 2) conducting diagnostic interviews; 3) facilitating various experimental protocols that utilize computer tasks and advanced psychophysiological monitoring equipment; 4) organizing, cleaning, and analyzing data; 5) supervising MRI data collection protocol; 6) supervising undergraduate research assistants.

Ideal candidates should have 1) a B.A. in any field; 2) a demonstrated record of strong organization and interpersonal communication skills; 3) previous research experience in the area of anxiety or depression; 4) a general aptitude for independently identifying and troubleshooting problems as they arise.
